Before the Greenland pictures, here are some more of the Mustang in Wichita at the Cessna Service Center, just before we started on the ferry:
Now for pictures of Goose Bay with the Dash 8 turboprop and leaving Goose Bay and the rest of the pictures are Greenland shots:

Frozen Moments of freezing stuffs! COOL!
Frozen sea, the North Atlantic, with ice floes around. I saw a few large chunks of iceberg floating away. I've seen more ice than on this trip before, though. The water was so still in the inlets that one could see reflections of the mountains around in the water.
I have seen something like this during a chopper ride. It was the Changu Lake near Gangtok in Sikkim. The lake had frozen completely and it looked as if we were looking into a mirror. I had no cameras then, I didn't even know my pilot friends would be treating me such a visual delight.
I can sense how happy you must be lapping up all these visual delights.
yes , this was something which all must have looked forward to .
ice , ice and more ice . and here in india hot , hot and hotter
Indrani, a chopper ride in Sikkim? Good experience indeed! Thanks for sharing.
Athul, it was cold till the UK. Kept getting warmer through France, Italy and Greece. It was hot from Egypt through India. That blog is coming up, and may make some readers uncomfortable (due weather!).
Hi All,
Good experiences shared by all here. I got a chance to visit NE once and seen Changu Lake. It was good experience.
Cheers
Hi Ferry, thanks for visiting the blog and for sharing that you visited Changu Lake. Cheers.
This is great info to know.
Lovely Pics! It looks so beautiful from the top. It would have been quite a memorable experience. Its quite rare to catch such lovely nature pictures. While traveling on ferries we get a nice view of the sea and its surroundings.
Am feeling cooler here in Hyd seeing these pics; they are just out of the world. Breath-taking. Thanks Captain :)
You're welcome and thanks for stopping by this blog. I have more Greenland and Iceland stories in my regular blog. There is a 4 part series I wrote in 2006 about a ferry flight I did in a small piston engine Aircraft (misadventure of mine)! That has more details.
this is simply exquisite :)
Thanks Dew, it was a fun trip. I have been on this North Atlantic circuit and I have flow different types of Aircraft both ways, mostly on delivery flights like this one. I enjoy ferrying airplanes.
I hope you have read about this in detail on my other blog with more pictures and details:

In 2006 june/july archives on my other blog, I wrote about a similar flight I did in a small piston engine Aircraft some time ago. That one also contains interesting photos and is a 5 part blog (longest series I have written). Thanks for reading from my earlier posts.
OMG!!! These pics are splendid :)
Thanks Shabnam! First time I'm addressing you by name! Glad you liked the pics.
